An exciting opportunity to join our new Out of School Club, supporting children in a unique outdoor environment. You'll help deliver engaging activities including animal care, nature-based learning, bushcraft and outdoor play, while helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive experience for local children.
Heeley City Farm is a community charity based in the heart of Sheffield, working within a mini working farm to provide support, education and training to people from all backgrounds and abilities. Thanks to new funding from the Department for Education, we are launching an exciting after-school provision for local children. We are an equal opportunities employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive culture and welcome applications from all minority groups.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to support the delivery of our Out of School Club. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create stimulating, child-centred activities that encourage learning, creativity, confidence and outdoor exploration.

This role offers the opportunity to work with children in a truly unique setting, helping them engage with nature, develop new skills and enjoy positive outdoor experiences. You will contribute to planning activities, support children's development and wellbeing, build positive relationships with families, and help ensure the provision is safe, welcoming and inclusive.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in childcare, playwork, youth work or early years provision. Knowledge of safeguarding, SEND support, outdoor learning, forest skills or first aid would be beneficial. Most importantly, we're looking for people who are passionate about working with children and enthusiastic about spending time outdoors in all weathers.
