Getting to Heeley City Farm
Helpful resources for getting to the farm and more about the facilities.
AccessAble
Please be aware although we are trying our best to make our site more accessible for everyone we are on a hill and have some uneven paths. Access able can help you plan your journey and tell you more about how accessible our farm is.

Changing Places toilet
Everyone deserves to access the community. Many people with complex needs and disabilities can not access the community due to the lack of accessible toilets. Our changing places toilet has an adult size changing table and hoist so that everyone, regardless of their access needs or disability or reliance on the assistance of carers or specialist equipment, can use a toilet facility with dignity and hygienically!

Walk safe app
WalkSafe will help people living in, working in and visiting Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley to plan their journeys and nights out in the safest way. The free app shows users which mapped local venues are meeting relevant safety training standards, and can help you plot a safer route home.

We are a Sheffield Safe Place
Sheffield Safe Places aims to support adults who may feel vulnerable when they are out and about in Sheffield. If someone needs help, for example they are lost, ill or frightened, then they can enter the nearest safe place to get help. We are a part of a national scheme of organisations across the country that want to be a safe refuge for people.
Here at the farm along with our adults who have lived experience of feeling vulnerable in the community or want to teach people about their disability, we train up organisations in Sheffield to make them more inclusive, supportive and friendly.
Anyone can sign up to become a member of the scheme, members are sent a pack containing a Keep Safe Card and travel assistant cards. Can you spot any of our Safe Places in Sheffield? Just look out for the logo in a shop window or door!
