We are a Sheffield Safe Place
Sheffield Safe Places aims to support adults who may feel vulnerable when they are out and about in Sheffield. If someone needs help, for example they are lost, ill or frightened, then they can enter the nearest safe place to get help. We are a part of a national scheme of organisations across the country that want to be a safe refuge for people.
Here at the farm along with our adults who have lived experience of feeling vulnerable in the community or want to teach people about their disability, we train up organisations in Sheffield to make them more inclusive, supportive and friendly.
Anyone can sign up to become a member of the scheme, members are sent a pack containing a Keep Safe Card and travel assistant cards. Can you spot any of our Safe Places in Sheffield? Just look out for the logo in a shop window or door!
