FRIENDS OF THE FARM MEMBERSHIP
TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. MEMBERSHIP TIERS & BENEFITS

Your membership benefits are tiered based on your monthly contribution. To ensure financial sustainability and prevent abuse, voucher benefits are not issued immediately. They are unlocked ("vested") only after you have made a specific number of consecutive monthly payments.
 

1.1 The Heeley City Farm Newsletter (All Tiers)

• Benefit: Exclusive digital bi-annual newsletter featuring farm updates and behind-the-scenes stories.

• Availability: Sent immediately upon sign-up (subject to marketing consent), with no vesting period.
   

1.2 Bronze Friend (£5/month)

• Core Benefit: Annual Cake Voucher.

• Farm Calendar: Sent via post immediately after sign-up.

• Vesting Schedule: Unlocked and issued electronically after your third (3rd) successful monthly payment.

• Renewal: A new voucher is issued annually thereafter, provided your subscription remains active.
   

1.3 Silver Friend (£10/month)

• Immediate Benefits:

  • Farm Calendar: Sent via post immediately after sign-up.

  • Event Perks: Priority booking (pre-registration) and 10% discount on Heeley City Farm organised events (see Clause 7).

• Vesting Schedule (Food & Drink):

  • Cake Voucher: Unlocked and issued electronically after your third (3rd) successful monthly payment.

  • Sandwich Voucher: Unlocked and issued electronically after your fifth (5th) successful monthly payment.

• Renewal: Fresh vouchers and a new calendar are issued annually upon the anniversary of your subscription.
   

1.4 Gold Friend (£20/month)

• Included Benefits: Includes all Silver benefits (Calendar,  Event Pre-registration, 10% Event Discount, Cake, Sandwich) subject to the Silver vesting schedule (see 1.3).

• The "Day at the Farm" Experience:

  • Vesting Schedule: The entitlement to book a "Day at the Farm" experience is unlocked only after your sixth (6th) successful monthly payment.

  • Booking: Once vested, you will receive a unique booking link. Dates are designated by the Farm based on animal welfare schedules and staff availability.

  • Family Meal Offer: The "50% off Family Meal" voucher is valid strictly on the date of your booked Experience Day and is capped at a maximum discount of £50.
     

2. ANONYMITY & DATA SHARING 

We utilise Enthuse to process your donations securely. During the sign-up process on Enthuse, you have the option to hide your identity.

2.1 Anonymous to Charity: If you select the option to remain "Anonymous" to Heeley City Farm (i.e., you do not share your name and email address with us), we are legally unable to fulfil your membership benefits.
2.2 Forfeiture of Benefits: By choosing anonymity, you acknowledge that you forfeit all rights to receive newsletters, digital vouchers, calendars, and experience days, as we have no means to contact you or verify your eligibility.
2.3 Rectification: If you donate anonymously by mistake, or wish to claim benefits later, you must contact our team directly to re-subscribe. Benefits will only be issued from the point your data is shared; they cannot be backdated if the subscription was previously unverified.

3. PAYMENTS & GIFT AID

3.1 Payment Processing: All recurring payments are managed by Enthuse. You are subject to Enthuse’s User Terms regarding payment security and data processing.
3.2 Gift Aid Management: Enthuse automatically processes Gift Aid claims on behalf of Heeley City Farm.

4. VOUCHER USAGE & VALIDITY

4.1 Format: Cake, sandwich, and meal vouchers are digital (sent via email). Calendars are physical items sent via Royal Mail.
4.2 Expiry: All vouchers expire 12 months from the date of issue. Unused vouchers cannot be carried over.
4.3 Redemption: Vouchers must be presented on a smartphone or printed at home.
4.4 Availability: Food/drink items are subject to daily availability.

5. CANCELLATION & COOLING OFF

5.1 Management: You can cancel your recurring donation at any time via your Enthuse donor dashboard or by contacting the Farm.
5.2 Cooling Off Period: You have the right to cancel within 14 days of sign-up for a full refund, provided no benefits (e.g., Calendar) have been dispatched.
5.3 Vesting Progress: If you cancel before reaching a vesting milestone (e.g., cancelling Gold in Month 5), you lose all progress toward that benefit. Rejoining later restarts the clock from Month 1.

6. "DAY AT THE FARM" (GOLD TIER)

6.1 Nature of Activity: Involves physical activity and direct contact with livestock. Appropriate footwear (boots/wellies) is mandatory.
6.2 Scheduling: Available dates will be released by the Farm and must be mutually agreed. Failure to attend a confirmed booking without 48 hours' notice results in forfeiture of the benefit for that year.

7. EVENT PRIORITY & DISCOUNTS (SILVER/GOLD)

7.1 Scope: The 10% discount and pre-registration apply to ticketed events organised directly by Heeley City Farm (e.g., goat yoga, craft workshops). It does not apply to third-party events held on our land.
7.2 Pre-Registration: Where possible, we will email booking links to Silver/Gold members up to 30 days before general public release.
7.3 Redemption: You will be provided with a unique code to apply the 10% discount at checkout for each event.

Heeley City Farm reserves the right to amend these terms with 30 days' notice via email.
