Courses and Training

Here at Heeley City Farm we offer a variety of training courses, volunatary and work experience placements for people of all ages and abilities

VSP ... Young people can attend vocational placements as part of their education at Heeley City Farm. The vocational areas of work include Animal Care, Horticulture and conservation.

Young people are given the opportunity to thrive in a caring, nourishing enviroment where they can display their abilities through practical & theoretical tasks.

Young people can work towards Entry 2,3 or level 1, Awards, Certificates or Diplomas in Practical Countryside skills (animal care/Horticulture).

For 16 - 25 year olds thinking of a career in horticulture.  Come along to Heeley City Farm and learn new skills with our FREE taster sessions.

Each 2 hour taster session is delivered at a local food growing hub and the full course lasts 6 weeks.

Dates to suit between April and October.
