We hold gardening sessions at Dovercourt Surgery and St Swithun's Church for anyone to come and join in.
Enjoy the health benefits of gardening and learn new skills in growing your own fruit and vegetables at our Gardening Sessions at Dovercourt doctors’ surgery in Skye Edge, Sheffield and at St. Swithun's Church, Cary Road, Sheffield.
Feel free to come and join in for just a few minutes or for the whole 2 hour session. These are 'no experience necessary' sessions with all equipment provided, and at the end you can take home the veg you have helped grow once it is ready!
Open to all, there are regular gardening sessions on Wednesdays at 11am-1pm at Dovercourt and on Wednesdays at 2pm till 4pm at St Swithun's with Jo Townshend, a food grower here at Heeley City Farm.
The sessions are relaxed and friendly, where people not only learn about food growing, but also enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
