Reconstructed Roundhouse Project
What is a roundhouse?
It’s the sort of house people lived in, in Britain during the Bronze Age and Iron Age.
What is it made of?
The framework is wood. Its walls are made from wattle and daub (woven willow covered in clay)

Our Roundhouse So Far |
It will look a bit like this one! |
Why are we building it?
It is an archaeological experiment. And part of our new Heritage project. When it is finished it will be a venue for craft and experimental archaeology workshops, a classroom for the farm and a venue for other events
How can you help?
