Family Fuel Busters - Helping families, saving energy

The Family Fuel buster project is being run by South Yorkshire Energy Centre at Heeley City Farm until October 2011. The idea is to help families keep warm and save money on household bills
by learning about energy efficiency and helping to access grants, free insulation schemes and further support.

What’s on offer?

• Energy Education for priority primary schools in Sheffield, please get in contact to find out if your school is eligible. This could include class visits, talks at school events and education sessions at The Energy House at Heeley City Farm. (transport not included).
• Familiy activity days at The Energy House, including badge making, poster design, energy-saving trails and games. (Please see the poster below for more information).
• Support for parents and carers. Advice and assistance to families experiencing problems with cold, damp homes.
• Advice and support to help avoid disconnection and fuel debt.
