The South Yorkshire Energy Centre is a visitor centre and project based at Heeley City Farm working in areas of Sustainability, Renewable Energy and Tackling Fuel Poverty.
SYEC runs many projects in collaboration with other voluntary organisations, public bodies and private companies in these areas from engaging families about saving energy through activities for young children to helping older people to keep warm over winter and avoid fuel poverty.

Low Carbon Social Enterprise research project - This research, funded by SYCF through the ERDF Access Fund, looked at how to support different kinds of enterprise in Sheffield that can employ people and help to reduce our carbon footprint.
