Corporate Volunteering

Corporate Volunteering at Heeley City Farm has proved to be very successful. We have had groups of 12-15 people per day from a range of organisations who have had exciting, informative and positive experiences; these groups have made a huge difference and impact on the farm, which is greatly appreciated.

Some examples of projects have been:
• Woodland Management (tree felling, coppicing, hedge laying)
• Natural fence and weaving,
• Post & Wire fencing
• Post and Rail
• Animal
• Painting
• Decking and seating area
• Hand made gates and installation
• Levelling of paths and new path construction
• Step construction
• Log seats scattered around the site
• Possibly a bit of drystone walling
