The animals here at the farm need a lot of care and attention to keep them well and keep them happy. Food, bedding and vet’s bills are some of the farm’s biggest costs but we receive no direct funding for their care and rely instead on public donations.

You can help us to look after them by becoming the sponsor of your favourite animal at the farm! You can choose from sheep, goats, horses, pigs, ducks, hens and even our grumpy Watch Goose Harvey! We also have a Small Animal House which is home to Rabbits, Ferrets and other domestic pets, and creatures from around the world; Degus, Chipmunks, Snakes and even Tarantulas.

Sponsorship is a wonderfully thoughtful Christmas, birthday or anytime gift, and we can send certificates directly to the recipient at your request. If the recipient is a child, or someone who would like to be more hands on when they visit, we can advise you on the friendliest animals to sponsor.

Sponsorship Includes

• A certificate featuring a photo of your chosen animal
• Updates on your animal’s progress
• Your name on the ‘Animal Sponsors Roll of Honour’ in the Small Animal House
• Your name will also appear on the ‘Thank You’ page of the farm website, next to a photo of the animal you have sponsored
• Plus you can come to the farm 364 days a year to visit them! If you tell a member of staff which one of the animals you are the sponsor for, you will be able to handle them. The Garden Centre even has special animal feed that you can give to the animals when you visit. It’s only 50p for a bag!

Schools, Corporate and Community groups can also sponsor an animal here at Heeley City Farm; they make great office or classroom mascots! The smaller animals at the farm can be brought to visit group sponsors in the classroom or workplace by arrangement. (there might be a charge for these visits) If you would like further information about this or a full list of the animals available for sponsorship or any other enquiry about the scheme please contact the farm.

Price Per Year (minimum donation)

When you have decided who you’d like to sponsor, come to the farm office to complete an application or, alternatively, download the form from the link on this page. You must be over 18 to sponsor an animal, under 18’s must have permission from parents/carers.  Post your completed application, together with payment to this address:
